When Will I Know the Result of the Admission Application?

Due to the high volume of applications, evaluations take up to 5 weeks after the application period closes.

You will receive an automated email notification, and your application status will update directly on your apply.unisi.it dashboard.

To keep evaluation times as fast as possible for everyone, the admission office and evaluation committee cannot provide individual status updates via email before the 5-weeks timeframe has passed.

What is the difference between Deadline and Pre-Deadline?

Throughout the admissions period, we have multiple pre-deadlines. If you apply before a pre-deadline, you will receive your evaluation decision within 5 weeks of that pre-deadline. Missing a pre-deadline will not affect your chances—you can still apply by the final deadline. However, please note that no applications will be accepted after the final deadline. 

How the Evaluation Process Works

Applications are not processed automatically. Each application is thoroughly reviewed by the Evaluation Committee of the specific degree programme you applied to.

Professors evaluate your background, transcripts, and course matches to ensure you meet the entry requirements. If the Selection Board deems it necessary to further assess your preparation, they will contact you directly (via email or through the apply.unisi.it portal) to schedule an interview or test. If you are not contacted, no additional test is required.

Application Outcome

As soon as the evaluation is completed, you will be notified directly through the apply.unisi.it platform.
